SK win Battle of Sweden

SK Gaming have begun their Extreme Masters story with a bang, following a 19-11 victory of Meet Your Makers.

In a match between two strong contenders of Group B, it ended up being SK Gaming who came out on top in what could be described as a one-sided encounter.

MYM, who started out as Terrorist, got the action started in the first half, winning the first three rounds, before SK embarked on a ten-round streak to keep their opponents at bay, with Dennis "walle" Wallenberg showing off his AWP skills. The last two rounds would go to MYM, making it a 10-5 score in favour of SK at half time.

As Terrorist, SK began the better as they picked up the opening three rounds, with MYM trying to find their way back as they claimed the fourth round. However, that was basically was far as they would go, as SK wrapped up a 16-6 victory. The remaining rounds were a mere formality, but still SK kept their cool, winning three more rounds as they sealed a good 19-11 victory.

Coming up is the main stage match between WeMade FOX and Na´Vi, with the other two encounters of Round 2 being played at a later time as the Quake Live matches will have to be played on the regular stage.
